DID YOU KNOW?

Canadian Law requires employers to protect vehicle occupants by installing bulkheads to protect them from loose objects and cargo that could become dangerous projectiles during a sudden change in speed, direction or involvement in a collision. Common sense says a Safety Partition should always be the first modification made to any Commercial Vehicle.

VanFitters Partitions:

Available in three styles of tops:

  • Clear upper Lexan to provide rear visibility;
  • Solid for maximum security and safety protection;
  • Perforated to provide visibility and air flow to rear.

STEEL / SOLID

Solid steel panels

The S-M-C panel system mounts behind the B-pillar. The S1M1C1FSV kit uses solid panels with a fixed center.

Steel panel options shown. Panel kits and the appropriate wing kit are selected separately for the vehicle.

STEEL / PERFORATED

Perforated steel panels

Perforated center and curb panels provide visibility and airflow. Choose S1M2C2FSV with a fixed center, or S1M2HC2FSV with a hinged center door.

Hinged center doors have a key lock, two 6-inch hinges, bulb seal and a slam latch to reduce vibration noise.

COMPOSITE / CLEAR WINDOW

Clear-window composite

PARGM is a composite partition with a clear poly rear-view window and an integrated steel frame. PARGM-NW is the version without a window.

The photo shows the composite clear-window option, rather than a Lexan-topped steel panel.

Match the partition to the van: These brochure examples are for GM Express / Savana applications. Steel panel and wing kits include assembly and installation fasteners for base van trim; higher trim levels may require modifications. Standard and extra 3-inch-setback wing kits are available. Extended wings reduce cargo space and are not compatible with GM Pro/Access vans.
