Metris ladder rack options
Metris roof-rack models
| Model | Description |
|---|---|
| 2BMM | 2-bar utility rack |
| 61-MM | Single Grip-Lock rack |
| 63-MM | Double Grip-Lock rack |
| 1BMMGL | Center cross-bow kit |
| 69-TCL14 | 28-foot ladder extension kit; requires 1BMMGL |
| 61TCSSUR | Utility-rack add-on kit |
Grip-Lock uses aluminum construction with plastic/plastisol ladder-contact surfaces. The source describes carrying a 28-foot extension ladder and instructs checking rules for rear overhang.
Catalog vehicle roof-load limit: 330 lb maximum. The utility-rack listing is more restrictive: up to 125 lb or a 24-foot extension ladder; rack dimensions are 63 W × 77.5 D × 11 H inches. No-drill installation.
Source discrepancy: the utility-rack paragraph calls for 1BPMCGL for short ladders/cargo, while its Metris model table lists 1BMMGL. Confirm the required center bow instead of treating these as interchangeable.

Two-stage outboard lowering, twist adjustment and aluminum construction. The source describes operation by technicians 5 ft 4 in or taller; check actual reach.
The brochure describes a standard rack carrying a 28-foot extension ladder or 10-foot step ladder. Short step ladders require the optional step-ladder kit; a 32-foot extension ladder requires the extension kit. Check ladder size, operator reach, mounting application and vehicle roof limits.
